I'm one of those people who can figure out the ending to a movie or book fairly quickly. Plot twists rarely surprise me, until now. Soulless, more than once, had me hanging in suspense angry, nervous, and scared for the characters. Kacie Taylor has truly outdone herself with the creation of a unique concept and the ease by which the story flows, even with the unseen twists and turns.
Samantha is a unique artist only using red ink in her drawings. She comes across a red feather pen enchanted never to run out of ink but she soon discovers that the drawings created from the pen come to life.
