A trip through the valley of the shadow od death brings Josh back from the other side, now he can see, auras and spirits. he also can see a man with no aura, because he is pure evil. Josh's obligation is to get rid of the evil. He is given some special help, but will they be enough.

Obligations by P. S. Winn is a suspense/paranormal thriller centered on the exploits of Joshua Anderson, whose relationship with his beloved Cathy and their friend Zeke becomes the pivotal theme of the novel. It is the network of human interactions that the author explores, along with the depths and breadths that time and space provide. A near-fatal accident causes Josh to come to the threshold of death and the ‘tunnel’ that connects the worlds of the living and the dead. His mother Janet begins to suspect that he has come to a transcendental understanding of the continuum. Yet Frank, one of the patients at the facility where Cathy works, perceives that his deceased daughter Annie has also gained access to the ethereal ‘tunnel’. Eventually it is Zeke who resolves the conflict in a climactic episode that may guide the reader to a different perspective on death and the hereafter. Obligations by P. S. Winn is one that will make you think about coping and understanding when the inevitable comes to pass.
Interesting read
This story is not my typical read, but it was interesting from the first scene. The author knows how to capture a readers attention and while it wasn't my usual genre, it kept me reading
