With the collapse of technology and the gray "snow" quickly accumulating on the ground outside her window, Hannah quickly realizes that something very bad is approaching their town and that her parents are doing everything they can to hide the truth from her. But when her parents disappear from their home, Hannah has no choice but to listen to the voice inside her head and venture outside.

Moody Mystifier 71/100
Sometimes captivating, often evocative, "Hannah" is an elusive story that suggests far more than it explains. What happened to the world outside Hannah's house? Where's the voice coming from? Who are the men in black and what became of them? Although a strict explanation would defeat the hazy puzzle (and what answer wouldn't be disappointing?), the last sentence amplifies the frustration of not getting more tantalizing clues. But it's well-written, moves steadily, and the mood lingers. Maybe a continuation or direct companion piece is in order.
Amazing Read - Why did it have to be so short
This short story really appealed to me. I like the atmosphere Andrews has created and I think Hannah's actions were very realistic. I just wish this was a book, not a short story. 5 stars.
Great Shortie
