The container exploded. This is not how he imagined his life ending. He stared with awe at the explosion, and then all movement started to decelerate to a crawl. This is unbelievable, he thought. Shards of metal flew out from the center of the burst. The shock wave advanced in a semi-spherical shape. Fire moved behind the tail of the pressure surge. Heat ripples extended high in the evening air. Before the slow-moving surge from the detonation reached Thomas, an angel appeared.

Characters from religion, the New Testament in particular come to life as Thomas is instructed by Raphael in the Art of War...Angel style. Thomas doubts himself, of course, but the story of Lucifer and his war on God's Angels is given a new slant. Great Character writing and edge-of-your-seat action make this book extremely enjoyable. Recommended for both adults and children.

Don't know where to start this book is interesting in how it starts. I overall enjoyed it and the characters were interesting and fleshed out. I would give it 5 stars. Its a genre I enjoy reading so thanks for a wonderful read.
