OMG this is such a heart wrenching book! This book is well written and will definitely pull at your heart strings. How much pain and tragedy can one man and family go through in a lifetime? Christmas was a family favorite time to get together and enjoy all the traditions they continued from the time they were kids to now its their kids...but when lifes tragedies is too much for one man he ends up losing everything just to gain the most important part of his life back... His daughters trust..... This is a book for all to read! have a box of tissues waiting...

I loved reading this wonderful book it is emotional and heart breaking very well written. Recommended.

Thomas Stevens was raised to be a good man. He lost his wife to an illness and then his daughter was gravely injured in a car accident that was his fault for which she blamed him. He tried for years to make amends but was reviled for his efforts. Lying near death the truth came out and he was redeemed in the eyes of his family.

This is a touching story about love, forgiveness and redemption. It is a Christmas story as well. I give this five stars for touching and poignant storytelling by the author.
