The autumn moon cast a ghostly image across the dark waters of Raven’s Cove. At night the cove always seems to have a very ominous feel about it. A feeling like something is happening, but nothing can be seen. At 3am, the night sky surrounding Raven’s Cove pulses with an intense energy that fills the air. Yet strangely, everything is still and silent. This secluded spot, just outside the small town of Founder’s Bay, holds many secrets that remain protected from the outside world.
High up on the cliffs overlooking Raven’s Cove, a solitary building stands like a sentinel in the night air, as if keeping watch over the mystical waters below. The Chapel has stood for more than three centuries, surrounded by towering red cedars that provide a protective barrier around the building, secluding it from the highway just fifty yards away.
A mysterious blue glow is illuminating a weathered headstone in the middle of the cemetery. Next to the headstone, a small group of mourners stand surrounding an open grave, appearing to be saying their final farewells to a lost loved one. The setting would seem entirely normal, if it weren’t happening at 3 o’clock in the morning.
