Pampertil is waking!
Zeke sat straight up in bed and yelled, “JORDON!
Jordon jerked awake so violently, yelling, ‘WHAT!’, that he became tangled up in his covers. He nearly fell out of bed trying to get himself free.
“Pampertil is waking up!” Zeke yelled.
Jordon froze, looking over at him. “You sure?”
“Yes! I can feel it!”
Neither boy said anything for a moment, then Jordon finally released himself from his covers and flung them off. “Wizard Jornak needs to be told.”
“He has been told,” came a feminine voice at the foot of his bed.
Both boys jerked around and saw it was the angel statue hanging on the wall there.
“You’ve already told him?” Zeke said.
“Yes. It is the one thing he wanted to know immediately.”
