holding dreams,
yours, mine
lurk between.
Peruse my hand,
see your life;
captured, seized,
perfect somehow.
Caress my hand,
tarry there
among soft lines
furrowed deep.
Close your eyes,
descry my hand,
entwined with yours
there’s no escape.
