I wouldn't typically purchase a horror/sci-fi genre book but a friend mentioned it to me so I bought it. I have to say that the appearance of the book is pleasing. It's well designed and lightweight so there's no anxiety about getting through a thick novel. Some stories to recommend (my faves) are "Visit from the Greys" "Phantom Miner" " The Dead Sea Captain" and "Death in the Wilderness". I don't leave reviews but something about this one so check it out!

I nevertheless found the first of Von Stoller's collections sufficiently entertaining in a "light macabre" sort of way that I purchased the other two available collections.The imaginative tales in this collection are quick, easy reads, and the perfect length to fill five or ten minutes of "downtime" during lunch breaks, commutes, or idle moments in the waiting room... or in other rooms where you may find yourself seated for a few minutes now and again. Most of the tales are melodramatic and vibrant, bringing an almost naive charm to the grim and ghastly content.
