This is a very interesting read of less than two hundred pages. I would recommend it to all married couples, or couples contemplating marriage.

The book is divided into two sections: Treasure Your Marriage and Cherish Your Spouse. Each section is full of insight and tips. I was especially interested in the Seven Stages Of Marriage Growth: still getting to know each other; becoming comfortable around one another; learning how to operate as a team, sharpening your tools--communication, friendship, intimacy, compatibility, faithfulness, etc.; enduring and redeveloping the marriage relationship as we redevelop ourselves; making the necessary adjustments in order to serve one another and live peaceably with one another; and growing in love with God and each other--growing in your faith.

The author also explores the difference between a worldly marriage and a covenant marriage, which is something that many people don't always understand.

The book also includes some helpful exercises for couples to work on their marriage and strengthen it--emphasizing the importance of focusing on what is positive and removing what is negative.

This is a book I will keep and read over and over again.

Treasure Your Marriage by Cherishing Your Spouse is a helpful resource for married couples and those considering marriage. It will serve to focus or refocus your attention on God's plan for a Christian marriage.

This book by ordained evangelist Suzanne E. Uzzell, reminds us of the Biblical significance of the vows a bride and a groom make to one another and of the important role God plays in marriage.

Treasure Your Marriage by Cherishing Your Spouse is one of those books that comes about when someone has a great desire to help people. It is obvious from the opening page to the last page. Supported by exercises, inspirational quotes and Scripture, Uzzell discusses her 7 Stages of Marriage Growth.

What I like best is that she encourages readers not to give up on their relationship. Where I wanted more from this book is how to put the author's words into action and perhaps some anecdotes to solidify learning.
