“I’m glad to know I was right all along.” Leon reached to fondle his prey’s limp cock. “Your reactions were surprising to say the least.”
“For me, too.” The blond beauty pushed out a heavy breath of air. “I’ve always believed women didn’t attract me. Seeing them half-naked at the beach or on magazines is no turn-on, physically I mean. With men, instead, every sense becomes alert, my mind starts picturing sex, even if I don’t like them that much. This has never happened with a woman.”
“If it makes you feel better, it didn’t this time either.” Leon continued to tease the dick until it twitched. “You liked one woman, which doesn’t mean you have to like them all. Like me, I only feel something for you, not for men in general.”
“Maybe you’re right.” Sean heaved as though the mere thought was a far greater load than he expected to carry. “But I don’t know—”
“You’re just worried you’ll lose your gay identity if you admit you like a woman.” Leon forced him to turn around and look straight into his eyes. “But I know you’re much too intelligent to let generalizations blind you. Gay doesn’t define you. It simply limits your choices.” Leon squeezed him tight. “You’re a person, first of all, who happens to have his own particular tastes, which should never, ever become a label.”
“Funny of you to talk like this.” The dazzling blue eyes flashed in anger. “Since you’re the first to deny our relationship afraid to let people know you’re doing it with a man.”
“You’re right.” Leon searched the beautiful face for a moment. “It’s my problem, too. If I haven’t told anyone, except Janet—”
“The kitty?”
“Right.” He liked the sound of it in Sean’s voice. “I guess in a way I think along the same exclusive lines as if fucking one gender automatically excludes the other, as if by admitting I like you, I denied my heterosexual nature.”
“That’s what defines us, lover,” Sean’s tone was soft and sweet.
“Well, it shouldn’t ‘cause we miss out on life’s infinite possibilities,” while Leon’s became harsher. “And we, above anyone else, should make it true for our current lives since we spurned it in our previous ones.”
“At least it’s been instructive.” Yawning loudly, Sean snuggled on a side.
Leon turned, too, suddenly feeling exhausted by the day’s events. But before he fell asleep, he had one last question to ask. “Will you want to do it again, sweetie?”
Not receiving an answer, he thought his blond beauty had fallen asleep. Only after what seemed like an eternity, did he hear Sean’s voice in the darkness. “I don’t know, lover. Let me see if I survive this first time.”

I'm beginning to see a recurrent theme with Tolomei's books, and I like the dark fantasy aspect that mingles the author’s love of writing violent passion with eroticism.

Laura Tolomei knows how to get into the reader’s psyche and bring out the inner needs of our readers to the forefront in this novel. For Janet and Leon, their only means for love lies in their threesome with Sean Davis, and their trust in each other – plus she has to get her original opinion of men out of her head and learn to get on with those of her opposite sex before anything good can come out of their relationship. I found it the perfect weekend read, as I was able to immerse myself in the world of two men and a woman who have such a burning desire raging within them.
