This book is a fantastic blend of political thriller and romance, and I was absolutely captivated by the plot. The twists and turns kept me guessing, and though I actually don't read a whole ton of political thrillers, this one really stood out to me as something special. I thought the author's writing was on point as well: it was clear, easy to read, and the descriptions brought the action and the characters to life. If you're looking for a fast paced read with memorable characters and great writing, then this is it!

Well written and in the true whodunit genre of great crime writers. Petrick launches straight into action and sets the scene for the events to come and doesn’t let up to give you any breathing space. This book should be read with a ready supply of snacks and drinks to keep you from having to put it down.
Intricate and believable plot., August 5, 2015
Reading countless political thrillers since I became obsessed with the genre as a teen I like to consider myself an expert in the genre. I was recommended this book by a friend and i'm really happy I took up his advise and gave this book a go.
The plot is both intricate and believable which is sometimes a trouble for this genre, and there is enough twists and complex characters to keep you entertained until the last page. The author constructs characters that really immerse you into there stories and histories. I don't want to give too much away of the plot but I like where it went and the themes it explored and is something that stands out in this genre. Cant recommend enough and I am eagerly awaiting more from Edita.
