A time travel must read!
If you enjoy reading fast-paced, time travel adventures, this book is for you. The story is basically about Gerry, an English golf lover from the 1980s who ends up mysteriously in the 1920s. It's in this era where all the action takes place. Here he meets the gorgeous Eloise, a daddy's girl.
At Eloise's house, you will meet a cast of characters, each with their own dark agendas. There's fights, there's love, and there's a whole lot of treachery.
As to the characters, my favorite was Eloise; apart from being your typical, sweet lady from the 1920s, she was smart and witty.
And off I go; it's 3:10 (you'll get this after your read the book!).
Action packed time travel adventure
It is a quick paced thriller with Gerry as the time traveller sent back unexpectedly to the 1920's. He finds allies and love while fighting treachery.
A very enjoyable book with likeable characters fighting the bad guys. The action barely slows down. There are a number of true life events cleverly weaved into the story line for additional enjoyment. I am looking forward to Gerry`s next adventure.

Imagine, if you will, playing golf in 1994 and being cracked on the head by errant golf-ball. Imagine that when you awake from your moment of unconsciousness that you are greeted by Eloise Ponsonby saying “I say, I’m awfully sorry. Daddy’s going to be so angry with me”…in the year 1928. Imagine that everything that happens from then on is accompanied by a strong feeling of déjà vu.
Thus begins the time travel saga of Gerry MacNeil, a man suddenly thrust from 1994 back into 1928 and who finds himself oddly comfortable with the era. Encountering the lovely Eloise Ponsonby, and her industrialist father, Georgie, Gerry finds himself at odds with a Nazi running guns to Al Capone in Chicago in return for the assassination of a major British politician. The story is well told, well written and quite entertaining.
Other than playing golf, we are not told much about Gerry MacNeil. However, Gerry is smitten with Eloise and determined to protect her from the harm threatened by the Nazi - Capone conspiracy. George, Eloise’s father, is a well known and respected business man, but even so is a bit naïve and easily led by his business contacts. However, he too, is determined to protect Eloise from harm. Besides the main cast of characters there is a cast of supporting characters in the background all of whom are a part of the time-travel issue. One of them has actually mastered time travel in a way that allows history to be manipulated and each plays his role at the appointed time ensuring that Gerry survives to accompany Eloise on future time travel adventures. Finally, there is David and Al Capone…and the St. Valentine’s Day massacre. You will have to buy the book and read it to find out how they relate to Gerry’s time travels.
The book should appeal to fans of science fiction and fantasy, and those who like conspiracies and mystery adventures based on conspiracies. I enjoyed it and I’m sure you will too.
