In front of a building, the truck hit a speed bump.
Wagon’s handle popped loose while Sally bounced and thumped.
“Hey, there’ s our friend, Sally the Travelin’ Saddle!”
“Is she visiting us?”
“Does she have new prattle?”
“Children!” Sally exclaimed. “We wound up at a school!”
Red Wagon felt a pull. He smiled like a fool.
Several primary school Cadets made a huge fuss about Sally and Red as kids filed off the bus.
Sally told them stories about the crazy trip. Their chant, “We love Sally!” brought a quiver to her lip.
