The 4th Reich takes the reader into the day to day lives of one aristocratic German family at the inception of the German Third Reich under the oversight of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party. In 1940 the patriarch of this family and several other thoughtful citizens reach the decision that Germany is likely to lose the Second World War.  These rich and powerful men jointly decide to band together to initiate another path toward world domination through scientific research. The 4th Reich series follows their progress through the remainder of the war and beyond, into the lives of the next generation and a new and very different world.
