You know, ha ha, how Grandy loves to kid.” And Dad said, “Clocks move at the same speed whether we’re watching or not. They’re only mechanical objects. The hands only seem to move slowly because we’re impatient for a certain time to arrive.” I believe Grandy. What he tells me makes more sense than the long explanations I get from my parents. Rose Sabin has constructed a marvelously funny, heart-warming story of a grandfather and his wild, crazy and hilarious inventions and his granddaughter who loves him in spite of any messes he makes. This is a page turner even for adults as it is very creative and humorous. I hope it is the first in a series. :)

OMG. My daughter LOVED this book! It came in the mail yesterday afternoon from Amazon and she finished it today. She enjoyed it so much while reading that she had to read half of it aloud so I could enjoy it too. I'm really tickled because it's so hard to find a book she will read and take an interest in; one that's age appropriate, and that also enhances her vocabulary and reading skills at the same time. Thanks for a great book!
