I have read this book 4 times! Normally I'll read a book twice I felt like I was able to relate to the authors poems. Golden Poetry 101 is a book that takes the mind into deep thought it cause me to appreciate things in life a lot more. The book is base on the author's life who struggled with poverty, drug addiction, betrayal, self-worthlessness, the book tells a golden story of how a person can overcome the hardships in life with dilligent work, and a compelling will to change for the better things that life has. I enjoyed the poem HUNGER it touched my soul!

I have read over 154 poetry books and out of them I would rank this one in the top twenty. This book gives the reader something they can feel. This book is definately a collector's choice. One of my favorite poems in this book is "Hunger." If you want a good book to stimulate your mind or take you for a wild ride this would be a great start!
