This is a compendium of the early horror writings of JZ Murdock.
The tales in this anthology examine the many forms of Evil. Evil is all around us. We see it, we hear of it everywhere. It is in our relationships, on the streets we travel, in the news we watch and listen to, and in our entertainment. The only way to combat it is to face it down, call it out, give it nowhere to hide. Evil takes many forms, sometimes the most insidious being in what we ourselves are living through every day.

JZ Murdock's first horror story was published in 1990 ("In Memory, Yet Crystal Clear") and also has short stories published in various anthologies along with other authors. With a degree. in Psychology, he was for many years a Sr. Technical Writer. But as there isn't much character or story development in that and certainly no punch at the end, he has chosen to turn his attentions to writing horror and sci fi, screenplays and some non-fiction, including a weekly blog at Murdockinations.com.

From: In Memory, Yet Crystal Clear
Horror surged along George's nerve endings. A psychotic tremor rummaged through his theories of what Peter had been trying to tell him. ‘Surely, this sounds like delusions of some grandeur.’ George thought. ‘Still, Peter sounded lucid enough.’ The effect this was all taking on him started to show. Then he began to conceive of his friend's dilemma in terms of psychology rather than neurology. Or perhaps, psychopathy.
George drew his hand away, unintentionally. He held one hand in the other, hiding the tremors his adrenalin was causing. Peter allowed all this to sink into the moment and concentrated instead on their surroundings and what was left of his latte'. George, fearful and withdrawn for the moment, drank nervously upon his espresso, wishing it was doused heavily with cognac, or perhaps just some Johnny Walker Blue Label.

The terrifying > "Andrew" An epic story about a boy who must search for his true self amidst chaos and confusion . Not knowing really who or where he came from . Bits and pieces of his life unfold into a mystifying past , present and future where his role is bond with all life forms and existence itself .
Traverses from his introverted beginnings to his super extroverted future .
We first find Andrew nearly helpless and very confused . As he recalls the past . There is much more to Andrew than your average boy . This boy unravels his past then grows into a complex mysterious figure of a man . Along the way putting together the puzzle pieces of his life . Finding things from his past that he probably would have liked to have permanently forgotten . Horrific scenes unfold definitely not for the squeamish or faint of heart .
AOE is a compilation of various horror , Sci-Fi in which Andrew is the end of . Andrew is also the first part of the currently two part story in which the second part is the epic Death of Heaven
