Original, insightful, & pragmatic! Loved it!
I read this book carefully from start to finish in one sitting. I could not put it down. I tried to truly listen to and reflect upon all of what this smart, pragmatic, and optimistic author was trying to convey.
I got a sense, right from the beginning, that writing comes easily to her. That this is something she is passionate about. That she has a lot more to say on the topic and deserves attention. I get the sense that she honestly wants to make a difference in promoting healthy relationships.
I think that people are in and out of relationships and marriages these days at an astounding rate, and frankly it seems like a lot of that can be attributed to partners not sufficiently educating themselves. Much like you seek answers to health questions from medical professionals, you need to be seeking answers from relationship experts. I'm not an expert, and frankly I don't know anyone who is, so why not read about it?
This is, without a doubt, an original, insightful guide to anyone in or out of a relationship. I believe that we are all learners in life, from the moment we are born to the moment we pass, and it is critical to read about areas that we know nothing about, both to broaden our perspectives, and to enrich our lives.
Thank you, Natalie.
I really liked the "Next Steps" sections of each chapter
This was an incredible book! it was thorough and helps provide insight for whatever relationship you are evaluating. I really liked the "Next Steps" sections of each chapter. They help pull what you've learned and ask you to actually make them applicable to your life by asking you to partake in the easy activities. The writing and thoughts presented are clear and easy to follow. I definitely recommend this book!
