Clay stared at the sterling silver frame surrounding he and Saphire’s wedding picture. She was, and still is, as beautiful he thought as he studied the photo. He remembered barring nothing to make their wedding day as special as Saphire wanted it to be. He had done it all for her because he wanted his love to be happy. He wanted to be her knight in shining armor, her prince charming, the man of her dreams. All of those things all rolled into one. But it was all a mockery. Saphire had had many men of her dreams and knights in shining armor; unfortunately, none of them had led her down the aisle; just him…the fool in love. Clay imagined Saphire’s sex bags laughing their asses off at his expense as they stood before God, family and friends, making their declarations of honor and love to the world; and it was all a pitiful lie on her part.
Clay slammed the photo on the desk as he sat in his home office. Anger and hurt seeped through his veins as if he was hooked up to an IV. Yes, he was sick; sick from the hell Saphire had put him through. Clay wiped the lone tear that fell down his cheek. Whoever said that a man wasn’t supposed to cry had never loved a woman as deep as he had. Clay wiped the tear away with the back of his hand. No, there wasn’t any going back now. No second chances. He was the brunt of jokes walking around with the word stupid written in big bold letters on his back; and everyone knew it but him. Hadn’t she hurt him enough?

Genuinely enjoyed every page of the two part series.
The bulk of the collection is eight short stories that are set in yesteryear. The compilation is filled out with four entertaining fantasy pieces and three poems.
'Coruscated Confabulations' is a collection of stories and experiences, most of which took place in prior decades. They are taken from or based upon real events, with a certain admixture of fictional embellishments.
My second book is about a boy who has Asperger's Syndrome and is bullied to the point to where he shoots up his school. I have divided the excerpts from it into three parts: Before, during and after the shooting.
