Who cares about Maylynn Jones and her two sons? Their father cares but he is missing again. The baby sitter cares, but Angie Wilson has troubles of her own and calls a TV station for help for Maylynn. Barbara VanMeter, the TV anchor, cares only for enhancing her own fame, so she turns the story into a case of child neglect. As the media circus grows, each person touched by the Jones case must ask:  who ceres about me?

Excerpt

Maylynn Jones hugged herself to overcome the chill that enveloped her. Her neat gray slacks and plain purple knit shirt were not enough to keep her f on shivering. The courtroom wasn't unusually cold on that spring day in 2011, but Maylynn trembled and looked about with glazed eyes and a knot in her stomach. The raised dais where the judge would sit was still empty. The court stenographer was in place at his desk, typing some notes about what was going to happen. No one sat in the witness stand yet, where Maylynn knew soon be pleading to be able to continue raising her two boys without the court interfering.

Professional Reviews

Too Much Left Unsaid
too Much Left Unsaid" is a pege-turner, bursting with good, ol-fashioned storytelling. It strips back the veils from the interconnected lives of two extraordinary 'ordinary ' women, revealing how they were shaped by the times in which they lived, from the end of World War I, to the turbulent 1960s. A compelling story, hard to put down.

Who Cares About You?
This character-rich novel lays bare the painful complexities of family relationships. Angst, discord, and ambition are juxtaposed with simple goodness and strength...A must read.
