You already have the tools to embrace your life, but reminders or "Soul Bursts" can help you stay on track.
"Soul Bursts guides you quietly and lovingly back home." - Kristine Carlson, co-author of the bestselling Don't Sweat the Small Stuff series
So many of us are in search of the same thing: a peaceful, relaxed, love-filled life. Sometimes, though, this desire gets covered up by the busyness and heaviness of life: the have-tos, the suffering, the people pleasing, and the running around on autopilot. When this happens, we can sometimes find ourselves disconnected from ourselves, our souls, and our lives.
Whether you've experienced this before or are experiencing it now, one thing is certain: you can embrace your life again. You already have the tools to do so, but reminders or "Soul Bursts" can help you stay on track. They can provide support when you're wavering and guide you in finding your way back to yourself, which is where this book comes in. It offers inspiration and helps you remember that you are worthy of living a life that you're excited about, that feeds you, and that directly reflects who you are at the soul level.
Each short piece includes uplifting artwork and journaling questions to help you take the words straight into your heart and apply them to your own life.
This book lovingly reminds you of the following:
- The complete knowing that you are made of pure love and are infinitely loved.
- The complete knowing that all of the answers have always been inside of you.
- The complete knowing that this life is yours to live.
Our soul is always with us. And it's constantly giving us little bursts of wisdom. It's up to us to slow down and listen. If you're ready to open your heart, reconnect to life, surround yourself with positivity, see the world from a new perspective, put yourself back on your priority list, and embrace your gifts, this book is for you! Its nuggets of inspiration will help you live your best life!

Soul Bursts is a breath of fresh air. As I began to read it, I immediately felt like I was coming home. Jodi Chapman's gentle, powerful wisdom spoke right to my soul and I found myself wanting to curl up and read more and more. Her authenticity shines from each page as she shares openly and vulnerably from the heart. Each piece in the book is an invitation to extend love and compassion to the most important person in your life – YOU – and self-love is something we would all benefit from. Soul Bursts is an inspiring, soulful book that encourages you to explore the beauty awaiting you within your own heart - and gives you the tools to do it. I highly recommend it!
Inspiring and Beautiful
Jodi Chapman has written an inspired and inspiring book that gently guides you to live a life where you feel more connected with your soul. What is ‘soul’ anyway? Most of us talk about it, and many find it hard to describe what ‘soul’ is. At the beginning of the book, Jodi has a short, clear description of the soul that I love: the soul is “the wise part of me that is connected to all that is”.
This little book is highly recommended, and great for your daily journaling practice. Each chapter consists of a text section and a ‘soul reflection’ part with questions, exercises and prompts.
Jodi has generously made the beautiful quote images from the book available for download in full color on her website.
Thank you, Jodi, for inspiring us to live our best life!
Beautiful, personal love letters to your soul
This book is such a precious gift. It is deeply personal and honest, and as such, speaks to the reader at such a deep, personal level. Each entry speaks with three separate levels of detail...first, a 'teaser', a beautiful, printable poster with a 'big-picture' statement of the message to come; then a more in-depth treatment of the topic, always related in a very engaging way - with Jodi's personal thoughts and experiences, and often an invitation for the reader to engage in a practical thought exercise; and lastly, a thought-provoking question to prompt further exploration through journalling. It's wonderfully versatile - providing everything from a little taste to a really deep dive into so many of the really important questions that need to be pondered to truly know and love oneself. I take a little time each day, open the book at random and start sampling the posters. Very quickly, I come upon one (or two, or three...) where I know I want to spend more time exploring, and I settle in for the short read and as much time as I want to let my soul guide my writing. I'm learning so much, and in such a gentle, easy way. I highly recommend this special book to everyone.
Poetry. Various urgent, lively, and sometimes haunting poems appear here alongside stark black and white photos of Jones' homeless subjects. Jones takes on the plight of the homeless in different voices, echoing the thoughts of people on the streets,

Intuitively, I know I've lived many lifetimes, and none more interesting than the one I'm living now. However, being born an old soul somehow did not excuse me from the same job I share with you and that is learning to craft a positive attitude about
