The Indus Challenge(330 BC) is part of a sequel by Dr. R. Durgadoss. This is the second book and the first one is The Shackles of the Warrior (3200 BC).

This book The Indus Challenge starts with an intro of the first book which is placed around the Mahabarath era. The protagonist new janam ie. second birth is the new book The Indus Challenge.
This book starts with the return of Alexander and those left behind in India. The protagonist is born to accomplish a karmic journey in his janam. This karmic journey is well placed by the author around Chandargupta Maurya, Guru Chanakya and brushes past against many unknown secrets to mankind.
Many nail biting twists in the story made me to read the book in one go. The main lead in the story Rudra kept lingering in my thoughts. He is destined as the guardian of the Unknown secrets. And I was surprised with the author’s view with justification that Alexander came to India to acquire these unknown secrets.
And the author touches many historical secrets like the Padmanabhswamy temple, Chidambara rahasya, Amrith the elixir, Brahmasthra and more. Overall a read which touches almost every happening in Akanda Barath during 330 BC and the fictional characters are well stitched with everything.
My appreciation to the author for his extensive study and all the facts & pictures are properly attributed to the source. At the end of the book the author has added couple of pages explaining the meaning of Sanskrit and unique words mentioned in the book. Also few pages have been dedicated towards the sources (bibliography) which is handy for those history lovers to refer any particular instance or character to learn more.

I am an ardent reader of historic books. I stumbled upon this title The Indus Challenge online and brought the kindle version of the book. The author takes the reader through the Chandragupta Maurya era around 330 BC. A period influenced by Chanakya and a tale of treachery, espionage, backstabbing, adventure and many unanswered twists.
