Dog Knows Best is a witty peek into the canine brain and how they look at us or moreover, how they train us.

Dog Knows Best is a witty peek into the canine brain and how they look at us or moreover, how they train us. Some dogs have a master, this witty canine has a staff!
Dog Knows Best is a dogs-eye view of vital things in life such as eating, who owns the house, grand-parents, cat
enemies, and belly rubs just to name a few. Let’s face it, canines lead an extremely busy life. Their days are filled with activities not always visible or known to their human.
If you ever wanted a lighthearted read for yourself or the perfect book for your canine-loving friends, Dog Knows Best is it!
With these tips and tricks, dog parents will think they did it themselves when, in fact, the canines are simply perfecting their humans’ behavior. A more joyful relationship for you and your canine is just a few pages away. A great read for you and your furry friend!

Excerpt

Introduction
AH, HUMANS…YOU’VE GOT to love
them. Understanding them…now that’s
an entirely different story. However, that’s where I come into the picture.
Hi, my name is Panda. While my name may
have you conjuring up an image of a large, furry creature with bad hygiene, roaming in the wilderness or digging through someone’s trashcan or picnic basket, that is not the case. I am a 15-inch, full-blooded beagle. I would give you my weight; however, I am a female and…a lady would never divulge such an intimate detail as that. Let me
simply state for the record: I am a canine babe, not a bear. I have long advocated that we canines should impose a naming convention of some sort on the human race—a guideline, if you will, for humans to name their best friends.
However, we pups have our paws full with
much more difficult issues than whether or not to name a 180-pound rottweiler “Baby” or “Sissy” or to call a chihuahua “Rocky” or “Rambo.”
Yes, the task of understanding and
training your human is a daunting challenge, at best. Nevertheless, I do possess a higher understanding of human beings and their needs, and I can help. Oh yes, humans do require lots of understanding, God love them! It is a good thing we canines are around to provide that, as well as unconditional
love. So, wipe off your paws, curl
up on the couch next to your human, and
allow me to explain so you can better understand your human. With any luck, they, too, will read this book.

Professional Reviews

From the Dogs Point of View
Light and witty, intimately observed and beautifully presented, Dog Knows Best covers every aspect of the dog and human relationship - according to the dog.
'Written' by Panda Beagle, Dog Knows Best is one of those un-put-downable, read-in-one-sitting books that will be treasured long after the last page has been turned. For me, its strength lies in the empathetic way in which it has been written. There are topics among its pages with which every dog owner can identify and will smile at. For example, who among dog owners hasn't had to deal with 'nose art', bed sharing and, especially when it comes to beagles, drooling?
