The Awakening is one man touching a new world expressed in verse. It’s the spirit bursting onto the scene with green ecstasy. Through the sights and sound outside the closet, this work seeks nothing more than to exist – to be when we need to be. Victory over self-darkness is no mean feat. Triumph over the demons that put us down is the best triumph of all. Leaving a secret in the swamp and savoring life’s new vibrancy is better. This is my Awakening in song and verse.
