Scientifically, time travel isn't impossible, although the original, The Time Machine, is considered science-fiction. However, your attempt to go back to more primitive times, especially for youth to read, is commendable, as long as it is accurate. I'm thinking of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. The way that King Arthur's court is depicted is primarily mythology from all the stories. Scientific investigations have not even determined whether or not all of those stories are based on any facts.

On the other hand, I think there is a good body of knowledge about the Lakota Sioux. Going back to that time and showing how people lived, like Little House on the Prairie, does the service to history.

An excerpt would be neat.
