A young minister solves a murder along the New Jersey shore.
Twenty-seven-year-old Clarissa Abbot is a minister who has just gotten her first full-time position as pastor at Shore Side Community Church in Shore Side, New Jersey. A member of her congregation dies in the hospital under suspicious circumstances before he can pass along information about a mysterious event in the past. Feeling guilty because she couldn't convince the man to confide in her before his death, Clarissa begins an investigation to find out his secret. This soon leads back to an unsolved murder that took place in Shore Side over fifty years ago.
