My little girl disliked eating fish and always came up with interesting stories to avoid eating it. My favourite was “I am perpetually thirsty and like to drink lots of water. I’m afraid the fish will start swimming in my stomach”.

Very nice collection of memories. Each story creates a reverie of thoughts which takes one back to their childhood. The stories are nostalgic and brings that soft smile on the face along with that feeling of contentment that we have been through those days once.
Lovely
Lovely collection of short stories(anacdotes)most of them true I believe . Flaw of narration is smooth , once you start reading can’t stop .and many are part of our life , exemplary effort by Payal Sinha .My personal favourite is cream biscuit -it gives much deeper meaning- how we want to take only softer part of life and set aside tough part ,only to get it piled, ultimately it come back to us .
All anecdotes bring smiles .

I writing some personal anecdotes from my life here and finding that readers seem to like them a lot. I guess we are all curious about what kinds of strange, tragic and/or amusing incidents that occur in our lives.
Your book is very short at 29 pages, but I think it will be attractive to those who have little time to read and four children with short attention span.
When I wrote ths book in 2000, I was concerned about children having access to the Internet and to chat rooms where "you can be anyone you want." Here we are many years later and the situation with children talking freely to stangers on the Internet
