Both of my children (4 and 8) enjoyed this heart-warming story of friendship between the ant and ladybug. Like many, these two little bugs see something in the other that they wish they had. Instead of letting jealousy divide them, they creatively find a solution together. True friends encourage one another, and that’s exactly the quality that shines through in this story.

The Ladybug and the Ant meet one day. They form a quick friendship. They experience the life and culture of other insect through their activities of the day. When each one gives voice to their inner desires, the other, because of friendship, finds a way to fill the expressed need. I think the world needs more friends like Ladybug and Ant.
