The book highlights the hypocrisy in the church, that a pastor can be doing the opposite of his teachings. For every action there's a consequence. I had hoped for a different ending to the story but I understand it was written to show the consequences and the domino effect of the pastor's actions. Worthwhile reading.

Olivia could of forgiven him but Sidney was just too greedy, he wanted his cake, & eat it too. Ambrose on the other hand could of tried with Yazmin. I wasn't happy with how their relationship ended.
