Another Kathy Burford fantasy romp. Another fun read.
All of us have least given a try at a RPG - Role Playing Game on the computer. You build up a character, get into situations which require quick thinking or excellent battleaxe skills, as you wander over a fantasy landscape populated with all types of mythical creatures and human or semi-human companions to be your partners in an adventure.

What if you were playing along and suddenly you were really, really inside that fantasy world. Since you'd created some of your gang (you always need a healer and a thief can be a real asset), you meet them there. Confusion ensues.


All ages will enjoy this fantasy
The author creates an interesting fantasy world with great characters. A strong female lead but also a good cast of supporting characters. Look for the twist near the end! Kids will like this book but adults will enjoy it on a different level.

Very cool
Gamelit at its best. Very nice story, and parts of it reminiscent of old 8-bit or text-based adventures. Very cool
