Great first book
Fast action book. Read in one day (I’m retired). Enjoyed the fact it highlights actual reality in a situation that could/will happen. The lead characters reminded me of real hero/villain people of history. Will look forward to the authors next endeavors.
Rapid Page Turner
Completely believable story, an epic! Written with excellent word pictures reminiscent to the works of Stephen King. I hope we get the chance to enjoy more books by this knowledgeable author. A huge thumbs up!
Entertaining and thought provoking
This is an excellent read. It’s fast paced action makes it impossible to put the book down. Mr. Ciancio’s military and police background stand out in the technical accuracy of the weapons and tactics he describes in this story of survival in post apocalyptic life. His writing makes the reader question whether one could prepare oneself to live in such a frightening (and possible) new world.
Watched the video. Not much different from your description. You have good reviews on Amazon. I expect from the description that there is a lot of action, as well as from your three nameless reviews. It is sad that most apocalyptic scenarios like this end up in military action rather than benevolence. But it's all about protecting family from the bad guys, isn't it.
