After performing together for thirty years in the Murray Sisters Circus, Bunky the Clown and Lulu the elephant retired. Each said their goodbyes at a party held in the center ring and left excited to have time to do whatever they wanted.
They made a list of things they wanted to do, including sitting by the pool drinking lemonade and watching the clouds move across the sky, seeing every movie showing at the theater, and playing all the indoor and outdoor games they had collected.
After six months of doing these every day, the two friends became bored. One day, while lying next to the pool drinking a big lemonade glass, Lulu suggested the two come up with something new. Bunky suggested they find jobs that could fill part of their days. They both missed the crowds of people, so a job working with the public would help.
