A-Z review with Brilliant Baking
This is one clever cookbook and, in today's shelter in place era a great one for parents to use as an A-Z review while incorporating fun baking activities for the kids. From Apple Pandowdy, sounds delicious a new one to me to Zucchini Muffins each letter has a detailed recipe, a small 2 or 3 line story, as well as charming illustrations.
I love cookbooks, and I thought this would be a children's book with just one recipe, imagine my delight when I realized there are 26!
All I can say is...
NOW I AM HUNGRY! The C page did me in. I bet those were cookies the author made. Anyway, it's the cutest book of recipes with the recipe on one side and Lulabelle on the other showing the end result. Perfect for young bakers-at-heart. Now I just wish Lulabelle would come bake me something. Seriously.
Fun and entertaining book that can bring the family together with cooking
The author did a great job in integrating family friendly recipes with teaching children the alphabet and reading skills that they need. I can see families spending time together reading and cooking. It also made me hungry and ready to bake!
