“Father the crowds are still there, but they are no longer angry,” Ali said.
“What are you talking about, of course they are angry. Those treacherous Jews destroyed our holy site in Jerusalem.”
“I don’t know, but the crowds are shouting something about Allah destroying the Great Satan. Father, what does it all mean?”
Abdul and his mother were now hearing the roaring throngs of the crowd outside. This piqued their interest and the family quickly dressed and went outside. As they made their way outside it was quickly evident that something had happened during the evening.
Abdul noticed there was a man on some type of makeshift platform and the crowd appeared to be giving him their attention.
“Allah has avenged us for the diabolical cowardly attack by the Jews and their willing allies in America,” the man said. “While Jewish pigs are still alive, Allah has brought death and destruction to America, the Great Satan. Their great cities have been destroyed in a fervent heat. The country that used nuclear weapons against innocent people has now had those same weapons turned on them. The seat of power in Washington DC and other great American cities are now a desolate wasteland.”
At this the crowd erupted in rancorous joy, crying out “Allahu Akbar” and “Death to America, death to Israel.”
The man, who appeared to be a cleric continued to speak.
“Allah has decreed that death to their cities was not enough. America and the other great western powers have been struck with another judgment of Allah who has simply removed all trace of the existence of many millions of their people from the earth. Their great gods of technology are no more. Their planes are falling from the sky and they are now a third world power.”
The crowds continued on with their rejoicing for most of the day and into the evening. As more information became available, it became evident that whatever event had caused the multitudes in America and other western countries to vanish had mostly spared the Islamic countries. Across the Middle East, things continued on as before. While there were isolated rumors of people vanishing, there were no reports of planes crashing or driverless automobiles crashing on the roadways.
As things settled down in Iran, the citizens seemed oblivious to the events that were occurring in the outside world.

The introduction begins with an explanation of Israel, the end of time, and the rapture, and I amazing, biblically correct and detailed. I appreciate that. We then get an excellent, well-written history of Islam and the 12th Imam. This chronicle sets the stage perfectly for the rest of the novel. The story begins with current events and future promises and warnings or threats. We begin with Iran bombing Israel and an intricate and captivating course of events begins to fall into place. James Parker then weaves us back and forth between threats of destruction against Israel by Iran and occurrences foretold regarding the end of time. The inclusion of the two witnesses in chapter nine is priceless. The reactions of the people still left on earth is reality-based and well-written. The phenomenon of the new financial system and the mark of the beast is surreal, but honest. The clarity of the prophecy that has been predicted and what is or may happen in our world is scary to consider as written, if you are not a believer, but the story is written for all people. The Bible refers to this period of time vas the second coming which is where Parker suggests the Islamic 12th Imam superbly. The 12th Imam: Rise of the AntiChrist is the best book I have read this year. Good work James Parker. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I recommend that everyone read this outstanding book.
