A rollicking good read!
Could not set Tuber Tips down! Grinned from the first page to the last with bouts of outright laughter sending my cat running from the room and my wife running to investigate. Mr. James' Tuber Tips takes the reader on a roller coaster ride from the scintillating epitome of tuber-manship to the hallowed harrows of down to earth tuber discourse. Make sure you have your "between the lines glasses" with you...: the funnest parts are those left unsaid...
(FYI, and for those so inclined: There is also a happy nugget of human interactive existentialism that casts rays of light into the dark recesses of conformity for conformity's sake)
Alas; that the book has only one subject. (other than the nugget mentioned above) Perhaps we could prevail upon this esteemed vegetable visionary to cast his insightful gaze elsewhere as well... the much maligned Brussels Sprout or the plebeian Rutabaga comes to mind. Ah! Perchance to dream...
