Heartfelt and Touching Story
Though the enemy taunts Allison and feeds her mind with thoughts of unworthiness, will she remain solid under the covering of her savior’s promises? In the past, she’d swayed from her relationship with Christ and now that she’s seeking him again it isn’t always a bed of roses. Allison Stevens gave her heart to the Lord years back; however, there were a few wrong turns along the way where she made some bad choices. Even so, God in the department of using what’s broken and making it whole again. After a tragedy, she comes into her inheritance, a house, and it is then that she learns of something extremely shocking. Ms. Grace has written a fantasy tale based on her love of her Lord. The concepts within may be controversial in the vast Christian community. However, keep in mind it is a fantasy and fantasy is not based on exact truths. Even so, there is much truth involved. I thought it was a very heartfelt, touching story and it brought tears to my eyes in parts. It may help certain people through difficult times.
A Blending of Hearts & Lives with Christ at the Center
This modern tale features a beginning storyline something akin to A Christmas Carol but with a decidedly Christian theme. Somewhat predictable but carefully planned and easy to read. A Walk with Heavenly Spirits is an interesting and ponderable story of one woman’s journey toward spiritual maturity and the varied but faith-based relationships that develop along the way. J.E. Grace has put together a lovely group of caring and genuine Christian characters who strive to earnestly live and share their faith.
Christian Through and Through
I read this book because it was by a christian author. I was very impress with the emotions that Grace used to describe the journey her primary character took through her past. I immediately reconized the same feelings that I had experienced when seeking out Jesus Christ during a faith filled time in my life. She did a good job and her work spoke to me.
Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
