Love Poetry

Excerpt
Before

Day winding down, a yo yo,
Its spirals pausing in mid-twirl,
Then caught, strung, some cat�s cradle game-----

Radiance: moonlight stretching the still------
Kitchen chairs, table legs, their shades a chessboard�

Through spokes, between keyholes, past edges,
Luminosity beckons, is a friend to tired joints,
The creaking threadwork of ligaments
& nerves as taffy�

If life is a yarn, this one�s worn out,
Frayed, shot like a web
Glistening still amid wind�

Where it whistles, strands do a small dance,
Remembering�

We touch in their throes.
