The high school years are full of dark clouds, especially for freshmen girls. It all starts on that dreadful first day, when you enter a strange new world and discover the true meaning of paranoia. If the fear and insecurity doesn’t get you, there is always bullying, pressure to cheat, body shaming, racism, and loneliness. Then there is the whole pressure to “put out” thing. 

For most girls, the need for connection is critical to survive. But where to find it? Does it even exist?
