Haiku of a Wayward Sailor” encompasses both haiku and poems. Many of the haiku are based on my experiences at sea.
“Haiku of a Wayward Sailor” is the first book I’ve written in 8 years and my first sojourn into the world of writing poetry. As strange as it may sound, I didn’t choose the haiku style, it chose me. I was reading a western when the dolphin haiku began taking shape in my head.
