Pressing On Day by Day is not your every day devotional – pun intended. This book will offer you prayers to pray, declarations to make, affirmations to recite, things to ponder, and ultimately, wisdom and hope to persevere. Every day is different – just like real life. Some days we need reminders of how much we are loved. Some days we need reminders to forgive. Some days we need to know that someone is praying for us. So whether you are on top of the mountain or dusting yourself off in the valley, this book will encourage you to keep pressing on day by day. | | | | Pressing On Hope for the Weary Often when we find ourselves in a season of weariness, we will also find that we are about to enter or are in a season of transition. According to Merriam-Webster, transition means “a: passage from one state, stage, subject, or place to another: change”. In other words, transition is a state of movement. While we may feel as though nothing is happening, nothing is changing, or nothing is moving, the truth is in the midst of our standstill, the Lord is moving and rearranging things on our behalf. Sometimes, we just need a little nugget of truth rather than a complete dissertation. Whether you are weary from the battle, the transition, or just circumstances, I pray God will strengthen and encourage you to remind you that above all else, you are loved and not forgotten.

I’m sure we’ve all had a day or two when we’ve wondered what we can do to get out of this room and how we can speed up our exit. Nevertheless, we choose to press o |
