When I wrote the verses, I called them poems, but that's not quite true. I have decided that they are stories that rhyme. If you are a 'Baby Boomer' you will recognize yourself or somebody that you know. I divided the book into three parts with stories of Life, Love and Laughter. After all, what else is there?
BR>FONT face=Garamond>I decided on the title, 'Fields of Grain' for a couple of reasons that I will share with you now. First, it's the title of one of my favorite stories in the book, and it sets the stage for the rest. I love this country and the people in it.
