The Key of Damascus is about Brad Scott a businessman man in his mid thirties who works for an American firm living in Brussels, Belgium. His travels have taken him to the majority of western European countries, The Middle East and Africa.
In 1999 he decides to put together his own vacation in Israel. During his holidays and unknown to him, he becomes an unwilling pawn in a bizarre game. He’s confused by the unexplained events that keep popping up around him. Throughout the book he’s totally oblivious that he’s the focal point around which the game is evolving. He believes that the whole thing is just someone’s poor sense of humor. Brad has no idea where these disturbing events are taking him.
The book follows the vacationer through some ancient places in Israel and Europe. Some strange people covet a certain Key and offer large sums of money for it. They keep harassing him even though the tourist does not possess the item. These weird people crop up unexpectedly at the strangest moments and will do anything to get the relic.
One of the women involved tries to seduce him in an effort to gain the treasure at any cost, while another one tries to save him from his own vices.
He acquires the prize without knowing it and finally understands what the whole game is all about.
The tale winds through Israel, Belgium, and Germany. To stop this deadly play Brad must go back to Jerusalem to get rid of the object that has troubled him for the last six months almost costing him his life. He returns to Jerusalem where he finally frees himself of the ‘cursed’ object so that he can return to his normal life.

Book One - THE FIND
In 1999 Brad Scott, a 30 something American businessman working in Brussels Belgium decides to put together his own vacation in Israel. He hires a guide who is a graduate student in archeology from the university of Jerusalem and is studying for his doctorate. Brad wants to visit and explore ancient digs in that country, especially the out of the way places where ordinary tourists may not have the privilege to visit. His guide with his contacts is the perfect means of achieving the vacationer’s goal. Through a coincidence they come across a dig and find an old urn with a cryptic message about a key and he becomes an unwilling pawn in a bizarre game. Brad is confused and gets fed up with the annoying and unexplained events that keep popping up around him. He finally decides to cut his trip short and chuck the whole idea, but will the circumstances let him now that he’s been dragged into some diabolical scheme where there may not be a way out and could even cost him his life.

Book two –THE REVELATION
The Revelation continues with the adventures of Brad Scott from the point when he decides that he’s had enough of all the intrigues, the skulking of the two unsavoury mysterious strangers that suddenly appear at will and decides to terminate his vacation trip. Somehow his wavering to act immediately and resolutely as well as his guide’s advice convinces him to change his mind. Other mysterious events help to dissuade him from going through with his plans to cut the trip short.
He’s caught in a whirlwind of events that draw him further into one of the bizarre and unbelievable fables that are abundant in that part of the world. As time passes he begins to feel an ominous sense of foreboding that he’s caught in a deadly and dangerous game.
Yet all these events and his own emotions don’t help to settle his concerns, but rather confuse him further.
The last day before he leaves for home some disturbing and mysterious incidents crop up that don’t make any sense. Brad tries to rationalize them and finally gives up, but is glad that he’s done with the whole business as he settles in the plane for his ride home to Belgium and a saner world or is he?
As time passes the people and the events from his vacation in Israel begin to reoccur as well as start to haunt him again. During his routine trip to Germany he meets with the worst experience of his life not knowing whether this time he’ll survive.
His only salvation is to return to Israel where it all began and try to close the dreadful portal that opened when this whole affair began.
