This is a study of the subject of “Light.” Included is the origin of “spiritual” light in the creation. Also included is the origin of physical light three days later in the creation. The nature of light that is viewed as infinite in the reference that is in the New Testament that says, “Dwelling in the light which no man hath seen nor can see.” Light is seen in the manifestation of the pure radiance flowing through Jesus of Nazareth. Included is the study of the revelation by this glow of the concept of what is “not real” and what is “real.” Example: By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things that are seen are not made of things that do appear. The things that we see are made out of a substance that we cannot see. That substance is the “real” thing. We see the actual application of the benefits of the shining of God’s infinite fire into the life of the Christian. This reveals the message of the gospel unmixed with leaven, and the ability for us to see, hear, and retain these wondrous truths.
The Psalmist David said in the 119th Psalm and 18th verse: “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” Now David did not pray for the Lord to put a thing new in his law. He knew it was all contained in the “word.” But he knew that for some reason he was oblivious to it. So he prayed that God would open his “eyes” (the spiritual visual sense) to the wonderful things that are contained therein.
