kitten miaowing on the doorstep of their house.
"Maybe he is hungry", said father "Would you like a saucer of milk, he said
to the little kitten. The little kitten certainly thinks. It's a good idea, for he
purrs and rubs himself against father's leg. "Oh Daddy, may I keep him."
asks Karen, picking the kitten up in her arms. "We shall call him Smoky."
