After her ordeal with Serial Killer, Justin Parsons, Maddy Sheridan finds herself struggling to cope with the mental trauma she is experiencing because of it. While at a visit to her psychiatrist, Maddy is approached by a young girl who recognizes her from the stories in the paper about the kidnapping. The girl, seventeen year old, Jillian Masters, later confides in Maddy that she thinks a family member is sexually assaulting her friend, Wendy Patterson. Jillian calls Maddy to take her to her friend because she is worried something awful has happened.
