| | | The Same Tapes A novel about time travel and the complexities of modern day life.
span style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Same Tapes contains the taped disclosures of Joseph Same; a man who used a false moniker to re-experience events in backward time. And it recounts those events, but it also relates Mr. Same's reactions to them. But it's not a science fiction novel. It's a grouping of reminiscences, observations, and beliefs concerning how mankind can make life upon planet Earth better. And it's a very powerful book. And as one of its characters said "This is probably the best and worst book I've ever read.&quo | | | | The Students Of The Highway The Students Of The Highway is a well written book. Yet, it may be that it's not a book for casual readers. It concerns how human beings (usually) change with the passage of time; and, within it four separate paths of life are offered as possible routes one might follow as one journeys through his or her temporal earthly existence.
But the book was formulated from various written contributions organized as chapters. And those chapters were primarily the works of three of the books main characters, F. John Surrells, Rashon Leyf, and Ralph Hawk; but a few chapters were written by other individuals who may or may not be central to the various topics and assignments discussed and mandated within the book. Yet, all those writers and characters who were a part of this book seemed so shockingly real - at least they must have seemed so within the mind of the book's true author R.F. Husnik. br />
