On a volcanic planet a thousand light years away, a team of scientific investigators climb into an opening on the side of a hill after detecting an odd energy reading and discover the very cradle of humankind. It is a momentous find and sheds light on some of the most bizarre archaeological questions. They also come across a newly emerged creature called a Platnios with only one hundred years of evolution.
