This is Chuck Swaim's second book of poetry. It also includes short stories and essays. A Young Man's Abyss was mostly written in his early 20's. These are his early writings from 1987 & 1990. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and now resides in Olympia, WA. All illustrations were done by the author. Inside illustrations are from 1990 and the cover illustration is from 2014. Inside illustrations are in b&w.
