Abbey and Jakey book is my very special book.
After losing my beloved 12 year old cocker spaniel "ABBEY" to hemolytic anemia, I was devastated. I thought the grief would never end. I missed her so much and felt I could never get another one. I think Abbey had other ideas and plans for me. Jakey, a male cocker spaniel who had been abused came into my life because we were meant to find each other. This story is true and a very touching story that will make a believer out of you.The book will also help someone who has lost a beloved pet and think the grieving and pain will never go away.

The Special Kids of Sharon are real live puppy-dogs who are next door neighbors and live on a very quiet street called Sharon. Yes, their backyards really do adjoin a cornfield and a farm.
All three kids, needless to say, are our own Special Kids, very much loved and the inspiration for the books.
All the illustration in my books are created by me, using actual pictures of the kids and surrounding countryside. I never tire of writing, painting or doing illustration of animals but the Special Kids are my favorite bunch. Especially my "Abbey" She died from hemolyic anemia before the books were published. She is deeply missed but never gone. Her spirit is always with us. Abbey gave joy and love to whomever she met but especially her mom. She will always live in my heart and mind. The books are dedicated to her. You will find a truly touching story in the "Abbey and Jakey Book". The story how Jakey and I found each other with the help we know of Abbey.
